About

Bio

Dara Lopez Cook is a native San Diegan who recently moved to the Bay Area. She is heavily influenced by her mother’s Mexican heritage and began creating work based on her family’s history. Continuing from a strong desire to create personal meaningful work and the need for perfection, she took a step away from family and began to focus on creating from within. She learned to create work while in the moment and began to embrace the imperfections.
